Admission Unit

This unit organizes the application and acceptance process for applicants and receives applications submitted for programs that begin at the beginning of the first semester of each academic year. The application period for these programs usually ends at the end of the first semester of the year preceding admission. The Admission Unit supervises receiving applications from non-Saudi applicants for scholarship programs from inside and outside the Kingdom.

Unit Tasks

  • • Coordinating with officials in the Deanship to receive recommendations from colleges about programs and specialized seats for admission annually

  • To present them to the Council of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and then the University Council, then prepare them in the appropriate manner to announce them in newspapers and the electronic portal.

  • • Receiving files of applicants for graduate studies and ensuring that they meet the admission requirements and granting students receipts for their files.

  • • Sorting and classifying files and preparing them in lists to send to the relevant departments to complete the admission procedures.

  • • Following up on the results of admission in the departments and following up on the issuance of final admission decisions and recording the results in the Deanship's database.

  • • Issuing notifications and preparing files of accepted students and delivering them to the Deanship's registrars in preparation for registering students at the beginning of each academic year.
